The brush is a bit stiff and it provides exceptional cleaning as a result. I'm serious about cleaning my firearms and especially removing copper from the rifling. This brush really does a very nice job. So far I've not complaints only kudos.

I have switched to synthetic brushes from metalto protect my barrels.

My preference is not to use any form of metal brush inside barrels on modern handguns.I avoid bronze or brass, regardless of whether it's a $10K custom 1911, an Atlas or a entry level Glock. Wilson Combat cleaning solutions, this nylon bristle bore brush and patches are all I need to keep my barrels spotless clean and scratch free.
