This Breeze Constant-Torque series all stainless steel worm gear clamp is used to attach fittings to hoses. The clamp's band and screw are made from stainless steel to provide resistance to scaling and corrosion. The 9/16" band width provides for a greater sealing area than a standard-sized band, and the clamp's smooth inner liner covers band serrations to help prevent hose damage. This Breeze Constant-Torque series worm gear clamp features a Belleville spring construction that provides constant tension for reduced leakage under changing temperatures.

My van had a coolant line with a persistent leak. The conventional hose clamp previously installed would hold for a few months, then the drip would return. So far, this clamp has kept the junction dry.

These clamps are great to clamp the heater hose and can be used on 5/8 heater hose

Perfect for silicone hose. Also works great on rubber. Be sure to use a torque wrench, and torque to the lowest of 30-70 in-lb that will work.

I am not certain if I ordered the wrong product or if the wrong product was sent. Be certain to check the size you need. I'm very happy with the quality but I couldn't use it for the job as intended. I am keeping them to use on another project.

These are about the best clamps I've found for general hose applications. In this case I'm suing these on 5/8 heater hose. If I have a choice and these are available I run this type of clamp on my projects. OEM clamps are good but on 4wd projects OME clamps are generally long gone.

I was having problems on my S/C surge tank with coolant drip. Using the supplied spring clamps just didn't work. Especially when the weather got cold I would get seepage. Using the "supplied upgraded clamps" (cheap worm clamps) I was able to get the drip to stop, but when the weather got extremely cold I would still get some seepage from the connection. That's when I learned of the Breeze constant torque clamps. They have a smooth inside so they will not tear into the hose. The edges are smooth so they won't cut the hose. The spring ensures that even during the coldest weather the hoses will not drip or seep. I've been recommending this to others who have the same drip/seeping from their S/C surge tanks. Extremely satisfied.

Great quality part. These clamps seal better than the cheap worm clamps I had installed on my 2008 Chevy TBSS when I replaced the heater hoses. Kept getting very small leaks that were hard to find until I used some coolant dye. Installed these and tighten them down to 45 lb-in, or until the little washer are almost completely flattened, per Breeze's instructions. No more leaks.
