Needed a little manipulation with a chainsaw file to make fit where I needed it but in the end works great. It would be nice if we could get all parts as fast as this too. Thanks!

Fixed my 10$ mower. Mower was left to sit because the guy who had it before tried jumping the terminals with a light switch and romex from a house (wrong way) to try to get the starter to turn. Put this new one on with battery positive to one end, positive to starter, and then switched 12v to the bottom part to engage the solenoid which then causes the solenoid to connect battery to starter and it fixed it (right way). The solenoid will then need to be mounted to the frame so it is grounded (not pictured).UPDATED as 10/4/18:Solenoid has now failed and does not engage as is should. Worked great while it lasted, now it just clicks and will not the current from the battery to the started. I can tell the solenoid is bad because the mower will start if I jump the points on the top of it. The switched 12v going to the solenoid refuses to engage the solenoid so the battery makes contact with the charger, Giving it 1 star. Not impressed.

Have an older craftsman mower with a Honda engine, they wanted 350.00 for a new starter. Watchede Taryl on you tube and bought this and bypassed the old solenoid and it works just fine. Saved a lot of money.

1st off this solenoid works as it was designed to. But it is made in china just like the cheap solenoids sold on amazon save your money buy a cheap one. You would think a great brand like Briggs & Stratton would be made in The USA but this item works soo farr. I would rather had purchased an american made Solenoid( BUY AMERICAN) IT MATTERS.
