Not water-resistant as claimed so had to dry them all the time. Worked for me only for 2 months. And the rubber of the items became sticky just one month after. In general not good quality at all. Disappointed...

We had to bring our boat in for repair and had to leave in the dark as our lights were not working. Easy to attach to the bow pulpit. Easy to attach. Very bright. Can't say anything about how waterproof they are.

I bought these knowing that if I ever had a bow light go out, my passengers on my boat and I would be in danger without proper lighting. Just two weeks after buying these, sure enough, my port (red) bow light went out. I simply opened up this package, hooked the red/port light to a cleat on the bow, and instant lighting. Took less than 30 seconds to do, and saved our boating for a good week until I could get the bow light fixed. Fabulous product.

I used them on my kayak paddles for night time kayaking. They attach perfectly % stayed in place. The light were visible for a good distance. They are waterproof but they should be dried off after water exposure because the battery & connections can rust.

I installed these lights on the from of my boat, protected from the rain or water. I turned them on maybe 4 or 5 times maximum for a total length of about 20 minutes. The red one is already so dim it can hardly be seen. Terrible value for 70 dollars. Terrible. They look like they are from the dollar store.. Very disappointed that I wasted my money.

Product worked for two days and then broke they are a piece of garbage and very overpriced contacted customer service and they told me there’s nothing they can do they sell garbage products don’t waste your money

So I'm writing this to follow up on a pair of the these rubber wrapped/plastic housing LED "Bright Eyes lights". My initial impression was that they were nice and compact and even came with spare batteries which is a nice touch. After going on a fishing trip with these lights in my fishing bag, my bag got soaked in the rain and sat in my garage for 1 day. When I went to take the lights out of the package and found one of the lights had rust forming on the internal circuit board and was stuck on so I had to remove the battery to turn it off. I noticed that water/condensation was in the "water proof circuit board". I suppose they'd work, not sure if i just got a bad light because the other one held up to the water just fine, just seems like the rear battery cover doesn't seal on very tightly.**update 6/25/18After talking with customer service regarding the issue above, they shipped me at no cost a set of their aluminum housing round style clip on lights, see below for the exact description. These lights are housed in aluminum with a screw on rear cover similar to a mini flashlight with a seal, much more confident in this set and turns out would've only been $4-5 more to get this set to get the quality i was looking for. I bought these to go on the front of my small inflatable fishing boat. At night I only fish on small lakes near shore in calm weather. I wanted to at least make a modest effort at satisfying the running light regulations. My package arrived timely and well packaged. The lights are bright and appear perfect for my purposes. I did have a small issue with one of them. The clasp that holds the light onto the boat rail had pinched the rubber and nicked it. So that broke just as a rubber band with a nick in it would break. That was not the end of the world though. I could have engineered a way to make it work. But I never got a chance to do that. Before I started thinking about ways to make it work, I got an email from Don at Always Quality Plus Parts asking about my purchase. I told him what had happened and without hesitating, even though it was 40 days into it before I got around to responding to him, he said, "no worries, I am sending you a new one today". And he did. In fact, he sent me two. One as a replacement, and one as a goodwill gesture....with several batteries. We all know that most of the inexpensive stuff we buy these days is from China. And we also all know that with Chinese goods, "you pays your money and you takes your chances" as the saying goes. But these guys took all the risk out of it. I paid very little money, and they took the risk out of the chances. So, am I happy with my purchase? Well, I think the lights will be perfect for my purposes and I am 100% satisfied. And I am beyond %100 satisfied with the customer service.

my husband was looking for an affordable solution to adding night lights to my boat and if I could adapt it to my kayaks, so much the better. Once I spotted these I knew I found the cure! The ends of these cool little lights are actually flexible loops, which allows them to slide onto any pipe from about 5/8 to 1 inch diameter with ease. What I did was take a pair of them and slide them onto about 4" of 1/2" pvc with end caps, creating a portable set of lights I can move from my boat to my yaks in seconds- all I do is slip the band over a standard 4" cleat mounted on the bow of each boat!
