So I put these on my inflatable SUP, have to say the adhesive isn’t sticking too much but they gave extra adhesive strips to help and I’ll just have to tape or super glue them down more to make them stay on I’m sure if it was a kayak or real SUP they would fit perfectly, not bad for inflatable, wish it wasn’t so pricey but it does the trick and waterproof

These lights were very easy to install onto my kayak. For my kayak, they each run nearly the full length down each side. The adhesive backing on the kayaks is okay, but it didn't hold in all spots. I did thoroughly clean, dry and alcohol wipe down my kayak before installation and I still had some adhesive issues. So I installed them with the included brackets as well.During the first transport of my kayak, I lost the red channel on the lights. So they were damaged in transport. I was not unusually rough with my kayak as well. After some investigation, I realized I cinched my strap down directly on the strip of lights itself instead of one of the brackets. Make sure when you are installing you get a bracket installed where your holding strap rests so you don't damage the strip of lights.It was a calm night, so there was not a lot of testing with regard to how waterproof they are. The only time they really got wet was when I launched. They handled that well and the lights were super bright. I was only out for 2 hours so I can't specular on power consumption yet. However, after two hours, the lights were as bright as when I launched.I'm unsure of the durability of these lights at this point. I rated this as four stars just because of the price. I think the price is a little on the high end. Otherwise so far a good product.

I kayak.i kayak poorly. I kayak worse than probably anyone you’ve ever seen. I get lost, I capsize, I run myself into rocks, I get discombobulated and separated from my kayaking partner. So anything and everything that will up my kayaking game is a welcome thing indeed. My boyfriend loves these lights. Because when they’re on my kayak and we are out at night it’s far easier to find me when I’ve drifted far away and can’t figure out what I’m even looking at and am calling desperately for help. The lights take a lot of the “where the heck did she go now?” Out of his evening. And that’s a big plus. These lights are brighter than I expected by a long shot. They look great. They also adhere exceptionally well. Once they’re on they’re not going anywhere…even after Ive capsized and half of my belongings are floating away on the dark river. I’m happy i ordered these and I know everyone who has to kayak with me is too.

super easy install with installed mounting tape, nice bright lights, waterproofed well. wish it was rechargeable, but has good battery life for AA's
