It’s also the perfect intensive care unit for sick, injured or orphaned birds and small animals. The unit is suited to wildlife rescue or for pet breeding where portability and ease of cleaning are key benefits. This multi-purpose portable small animal incubator with a 9.5-liter capacity operates at 12Volt for safety and can be powered from the mains with the adaptor supplied or from a cigarette lighter car adaptor available separately. The digital control system of the TLC-30 Advance puppy and kitten incubator displays temperature in either °C or °F and includes temperature and power failure alarms. The temperature can be adjusted between room temperature and 100°F by using the menu driven digital controls. Temperature stability is maintained by a small fan which runs at low speed to minimize noise and disturbance to the animals. The adjustable vent allows plentiful ventilation in warm rooms or a low set temperature which is important for larger animals. The TLC-30 Advance baby animal incubator is portable thanks to an integrated carry handle in the top of the cabinet and stackable with the feet of one unit locating in sockets in the cabinet of the unit below. The clear door is made of tough UV resistant polycarbonate that can be closed and latched with one hand. With hygiene a top priority for the health of your pets, the TLC-30 Advance small animal incubator has been carefully designed to make cleaning as easy as possible with a very easy to clean smooth mirror finish ABS cabinet, a hinged door which lifts off and the working part and fascia which simply unclip and slide out (no tools needed) leaving the cabinet empty for deep cleaning. Like many baby animals, newborn puppies and neonate kittens have limited natural immunity and are unable to regulate their body temperature which makes them very vulnerable to illness and environmental stress, particularly during the first two weeks of their life. Keeping them in the warm and clean environment of the TLC-30 gives them the best chance to gain weight and thrive and could help them survive Fading Puppy or Kitten Syndrome. Did not keep the inside as warm as stated. With the small box, all you feel is luke warm air even when it is set at 85%. This is a lot of money to spend to not work properly. I will be sending it back.

Currently testing this but to be used for small mammals and avians, whatever is needed. Neonatal kittens or puppies, hatchlings, etc. temperature has been stable and operation is easy. Size is on the small side but still decent for the price.

We used this incubator to keep our elderly hedgehog warm while he was going through a rough patch. The incubator is wonderfully portable, and now that our hedgehog is doing better, we still use this incubator for quick overnight trips when we can't bring a larger enclosure. The car charger works flawlessly, and we've had the incubator constantly on (in case of emergency) for months now without any issues whatsoever.

This little brooder as worked out very well for our aviary. It's good at maintaining a constant temperature. We use a cup of water to increase humidity, and that works well, but I do wish it was designed with a humidifier as well. Super easy to clean. Very portable. It's paid for itself over and over again.

As a rehabber, I’ve needed an incubator for many years but put it off because of the cost. Two years ago I pulled the trigger and bought my first Brinsea TLC-30 Advance. I now have 5! Reliability is the number one requirement and the TLC-30 checks the box. It’s also lightweight, easy to carry and customer service is excellent! HOWEVER… there is a potentially fatal flaw with the door design that everyone should be aware of. The latch is useless. It constantly swings open by itself and there is no safety mechanism. Because I take it with me daily, in and out of my car, I have unknowingly dumped babies in my car, in the driveway, and in the street! I started using tape and then elastic to keep the door closed but finally got smart and attached a Child Safety Strap Lock made for cupboard doors. They are very inexpensive ($7.99 for a 6-pack), easy to attach with peel off adhesive strips and easy to open and close. They will save lives!!!! So buy the Brinsea incubator and buy the safety straps at the same time. I highly recommend both!

This is a great product I wish it was a little bit bigger but when I originally bought at the Animal, I need to put in it at the time was small but after seeing how great of a product it was, I wish I would’ve gotten a little bit bigger one
