I had been using the auto blade for everything I cut in my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125 when I read about this kit. The kit includes the holder, one vinyl blade, and a set of intricate design to add to my design collection. I am very happy with this kit.

So, I returned the original Vinyl Blade Kit with the invalid activation code and requested a replacement for the same item. It was delivered two days later and the activation code worked great. So I am updating my review to 5 stars as it set up great in the software. I haven't cut anything yet with the blade but I don't anticipate any issues since the activation and setup completed without issue.The Vinyl Blade Kit Activation Card had an invalid activation code so it was unusable. So the tiling, weeding and 21 designs were not accessible. I haven't actually used the blade yet, but I feel as if I was cheated. I will revise once I have actually used the blade. First I must try to find the user manual since I cannot use the Activation Card.

I’ve been enjoying working with vinyl quite a bit lately and this kit makes it easier. Like the fact that I can switch it out with the regular cutting blade so that one stays in better shape for other projects.

This kit DOES come with the holder AND blade. The included files will be on your Canvas Workspace after you activate them. This is for the DX machines only!I like this blade because it’s smaller and able to do more intricate cuts on vinyl than the standard autoblade. The designs are nice, but you can find similar ones for free online if you look. If you only use this for vinyl, it should last a pretty long time.
