Took on a dove hunt and got rained out, the rain went through the lid and got in the plastic pouch, luckily there's a second layer for protection. I think the waterproof function should be beefed up a little more. I love the bag since it matches by gun, case and jacket. I will continue to use it, hopefully browning will beef it up. Would be nice to have a bottle holder on the side.
