VCI penetrates into the smallest crevices where oils cannot reach, driving out moisture. Provides full protection by forming an enclosure around your firearm from muzzle to buttstock. The VCI Sock, when used in a safe or cabinet, will offer additional protection to all metal items in the enclosed area. Some of us store our take-apart shotguns in two pieces to save some space (they can fit on a shelf). Honestly I wished browning would just t include this with the purchase along with a decent case but eh. This is a good add on gives it an extra layer or protection when used with my Negrini case.

Super protection for both the stock and the barrel seperately - thus two pieces. The one piece VCI sock works best (and less expensive) for the whole gun/rifle (even with scope for rifle) unless you need to break down the gun for storage/carrier.
