bought this with the intention of removing small/medium trees - it's certainly strong enough! but it's too bulky for any other practical use. Originally i thought it would still work on bushes too, but the chain itself must be too big and is incredibly awkward to get around since it's so heavy duty.

Here in SE Arizon we needed to clear full grown yucca up to create a better fire break around our home and barn. The chain works even though the ground is very hard.

This was a replacement upgrade for the standard grubber chain. Much better. The standard version could not handle the excessive use I put it through and ultimately broke in several places. This extreme version is up for the task. I should have purchased this one first.

The grubber is very heavy duty. My only complaint was I bought the longer size to get a little more grabbing circumference. Problem is, it is so heavy duty and wide it won't grab shrubs and bushy plants. The larger sizes only seem to work on tree stumps.

Do not return this if you make a mistake in ordering this. I was charged $43.77 to return it to the sender.This grabber is HUGE and very heavy.not for the “feint of heart”.. I’m 70 and could not utilize it as I could hardly lift it.My mistake in ordering it, I should have just kept it and used it as a boat anchor…

The Brush Grubber is very well made and easy to use. This is really handy and I found myself pulling out clumps of brush and many small cedar trees (6" to 8" diameter). It is extremely durable. Also easy to "disengage" the chain once the brush clump is removed from the ground. This is so much better than trying to wrap a chain around trees or brush only to have it slip off. I may purchase a longer one in the future so that I can have one for large clumps of brush
