The design is cute enough, as pictured. However, the description on line doesn't tell you, as the information does once the package arrives, that you cannot ever get the canvas wet because the colors will run. Not the colors of the yarn, but the colors printed on the canvas. And they really really do run. More than run. The color washes off. Which is utterly ridiculous as you need to get the stitched canvas wet to block it. Just as egregious, the yarn that comes with the kit sucks. It's cheap, thin, synthetic. It is not the persian wool that any real needlepoint kit would have. The included yarn is too thin to actually cover the canvas underneath. Very disappointed with the product, especially as I bought three kits so my daughters could learn to needlepoint. Absolutely no point in wasting your money on these kits. Cheap cheap cheap quality. Horribly disappointing.

I thought I was ordering from Ethan Tapestry. I was surprised when I opened the pkg and found what I did. I do not like the canvas at all and the thread also. I will never order from you again. I am trying to do it anyway and hope my finishing lady is able to make it into a pillow for me. It was Ehrman Tapestry I will never make this mistake again

Everything about this exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed completing the needlepoint and it looks great!! I am grateful for the additional purchase of the backing and am seeking help of a friend to complete the pillow. I WILL be ordering more to match!

I AM A NEW NEEDLEPOINTER. I AM ALSO PARTIALLY BLIND. THE KIT WAS ORDERED BECAUSE IT HAS LARGE HOLES IN THE MESH CANVAS. LOVED THE DESIGN. HATED THE THREAD. IT WAS SO POOR. I GAVE THE KIT AWAY. I DO NOT LIKE MOST OF THE THREADS INCLUDED IN SOME KITS. I HAVE ORDERED COTTON YARN TO FINISH PROJECTS.

I like this needlepoint kit more than any I've purchased in years! Very accurate to photo. Yarn is good quality though the colors graduate very subtlety.
