You cannot 3D print and fabricate anything close to this for the prices. The urethane casters alone are nearly worth the cost. At first, I was at a loss without instructions but there was one picture in the parts list. I made a couple mistakes but see my picture for tips. Yes for $700 you can get a better cart that is more stable and heavier duty but for $160-$170 I think this is an amazing value. I forgot to add the tray until later, but the tool holders span the sides and hold it all together well during assembly. Keep the bottom pan cup side up as the casters need both the flat bottom and sidewalls as a mounting surface. I'm stoked, This is a great cart for the money.

I got this to hold other items, not for CNC bits. Putting the cart together was not bad. I like how the wheels are big and roll smoothly. I can hang items on the side of the cart. I use the insides for my project and don’t need the holders for the CNC tools. This cart seems to hold a lot of weight.I recommend this cart as it would be great for CNC use as it works great for my use.

Solid rack that can be used on a cart, in a drawer, or on a shelf or toolbox too.The steel feels thin and slightly flexible out of the box, but after assembling this rack it stiffens up and is more than sturdy enough. The edges are all smooth and precisely cut. Finish looks good and feels durable. The plastic inserts are good quality, smooth and fit both BT40 and CAT40 perfectly. It would be possible to remove some or all of the plastic inserts if you wanted to swap them for something different. It would be awesome if the company offered different inserts for different configurations, or just 3D print your own. Wood inserts might also work.

I found the tool cart to be a solid and functional choice for my CAT40 tool holders. Despite some minor issues, like bent parts and a lack of instructions, I was able to put it together without too much trouble. The plastic inserts fit the holders well, and once fully assembled, the cart is quite sturdy. The wheels are excellent, rolling smoothly and locking securely when needed. The material could be a bit stronger in some areas, but overall, it does its job well and is perfect for organizing my CNC tools. The minor manufacturing imperfections are forgivable considering the overall utility.

I got this to hold a bunch of CAT40 tool holders for my CNC mill, even though it's listed as a BT40 cart. The taper is the same and the plastic holders fit great. It looks like the captive plastic inserts can be removed, which means you could 3d print/cut from wood some other types of holders if you need. The cart came with no instructions, a parts list for a slightly different model cart, and a nice brochure of all their products in Chinese. I was able to put it together with no issues, using my own 5mm hex on a ratchet. Put it together loosely at first, wheels last, and then go back and tighten up the long bolts for the trays, the wheels and then the side brackets. There are two size of m10 bolts, the long ones are used for the tool holder trays, and the short ones go everywhere else. The build quality is pretty good, although there was one little dent that I fixed with a plastic hammer. The wheels roll well and there's room for other parts on the bottom.Note: The bottom tray should have the folded edges facing up. Everything else should be straightforward. My cart came with a few extra screws, which was nice because everything was loose and rattling around in the cardboard when I got it. I was afraid something might have gone missing.

This arrived with all sorts of issues:- fastener bag broke open and the bolts were all over the place- flange on bottom tray bent and deformed in 3 locations- insert tabs on top accessory tray completely bent over in 2 locations- assembly instructions missingLuckily, none of these ended up serious as I was able to address everything:- all of the bolts were present and accounted for including 1 pc extra of each length- was able to bend back the deformed/bent areas myself very carefully with pliers- assembly is simple enough using common sense, instructions were not really necessary.I did notice mediocre weld quality during the assembly process, leaving one corner of sheet metal sticking out/exposed, and I had to bend this back to be flush. Most of the welds look somewhat corroded in a rusty color showing through. The general sheet metal for the structure is not particularly strong, but the overall design is good and the casters as well as the shelves act as stressed members forming a rigid assembly. The caster is the highest quality component with rigid thick stainless base, proper roller bearings that are smooth, and nicely padded rubber wheels. The locks also work. There are manufacturing quality details that are a bit on the sloppy side, but once you get it assembled, the cart functions well as intended and rolls very smooth.

As mentioned in other reviews, I also did not receive instructions for assembly. Also had a bent are but didn't affect functionality. (See photo.) Wasn't hard to figure it out but still we shouldn't have to.

For the price point of about $160 I would expect a little mor attention to detail. Like many import tools, not instructions were provided. Also the parts were prone to damage based on the way the product was packaged. It's a pretty heavy unit and you need to expect that it might be handled roughly during shipping.Regardless, it's sturdy once you actually get it assembled. The design itself is nice and there are plenty of places for tool holders. The bottom tray allows for storage as well and the square pegboards on the side allow you to hang things if you have the right size hooks. Just wish there were a little more considerate in some of the more minor details.
