I love the stockings made with the Bucilla felt kits. My grandchildren have the pretiest stockings on my Christmas wall. They are not easy to make but once you are done, it is a piece of art that everyone admires! Love every single one of them!

Good thing I'm a weirdo and have random sequins, because as cute as it is, didn't come with nearly enough to finish. I've done one of these for each family member, pretty straight forward. Directions could be better if anyone without experience wanted to do it - like not making you switch back and forth between papers for instructions (key is on one, pattern on another).

Bucilla makes the very best kits and this one was no exception. This was the sixth one I've made over the years, the first one is now nearly 38 years old! That being said, here's some suggestions: buy the stocking liner! These didn't exist years ago, and I ended up having to purchase more felt and add a backing to the old stockings as my overstuffing tended to wear the felt thin. Also, the inside will have threads from the front that can be pulled. The stocking liner solves this problem and will help it last for years.Also, I do have arthritis in my hands, and I admit to knotting every single bead/sequin, and also knotting the felt seams about every 5 or 6 stitches as I want these to last forever. It's quite time consuming. I would estimate it took me about 60 hours to complete this stocking. Just an fyi. Others might complete it more swiftly, but as I said, I want this to last.

I made this for my new grandson. The instructions are easy to follow. It took me about two weeks spending about two hours a day working on it. Beautiful!! I’ve made one for each family member over the years.

These kits are fantastic. The rest for 4 stars instead of 5, has to do with the instructions. I have been making these kits for many years and the instructions were great. The last few years the instructions are not as detailed as previously. Since I have been doing them for years. No problem for me. A new person to these kit might have a problem with the instructions

I’ve been making the Bucilla Felt Stocking for years, too many stockings to count and I’ve always been satisfied but this order I didn’t have enough black sequins to finish the stocking. I had to order sequins from Amazon in order to finish the stocking.
