If you’re replacing a wallet bought from this company before 2019, you’re going to be disappointed. The material this wallet is now made from, doesn’t allow for sharp images or color saturation. The image is coarse and blurry compared with the older style.I get it—there’s a constant struggle to improve margins and profitability. If, however, it was clear that I was getting a substantially different wallet than previously sold, I’d never have bought this. To be fair I’ll say this: if you never saw the older style, you’d probably grade the new style as “satisfactory”.

I was pretty excited when making my purchase. Unfortunately, the material is different than the photos. The wallet is certainly usable, but the colors are faded and eyes are barely visible on certain characters. I'd be inclined to ignore the false marketing on the material if the wallet didn't look like it was left in the sun. In any case, I would suggest purchasing a wallet elsewhere.

EDIT: I've left the original review intact below, but I will amend: the wallet breaks in nicely and I had 6o+ bills in there and it folded just fine. A few months in and my only problem with it is the hole in the side, reminding me this was intended for the kind of dude who wears a wallet chain. I am not that dude.Original Review:Granted it might be safe to assume that a wallet with superheroes on it isn't for adults, that's not the assumption I made. The thing is absolutely gorgeous (Alex Ross, natch) but it will not hold much. I don't think it would fold with more than 10 bills in it, and there's not much room for credit cards. So, it'd be fun for cons or quick outings where you don't need to have everything with you, but not so great for everyday use. I don't regret buying it, but I will need to get another wallet.
