This bar tape is pretty nice. Installation went smoothly, and they included two different styles of end plugs (a friction fit set and a cam set). The tape was stretchy and strong with a really sticky adhesive layer. The adhesive is so sticky that you'd better get the wrap right the first time. It's definitely not quite as squishy as premium brands, but many riders may desire that. Time will tell for durability, but I'll update is the tape starts to fail prematurely. I see nothing so far that would cause me to suspect that. Overall, seems like a good value bar tape!

Got this to match my blue(ish) bike - see photo. The tape is strong, and won't break like cork when you pull it tight. It wraps nicely, and has adhesive strip down the middle to help hold it it place. The length of each roll was just long enough to wrap each side, after I cut a short piece off the black end to cover the back of the shift levers. My only nitpick is that the finishing tape is thin, short, wrinkles easily, and didn't hold very well. No problem, I just used black electrical tape like every normal person. The tape itself is fairly thick and provides just a tiny bit of cushioning; I used gel pads on the tops of the bars because I like a little extra cushion. The finish on the tape is not overly grippy, but with padded gloves it works fine. If you ride barehanded you might find it a little slippery. I think it will hold up well in wet weather. The kit comes with two push-in and two expandable bar plugs so you have a choice. Overall I like this tape a lot.

I will not be using this for it's intended purpose, bicycle handlebars. Instead I have a chainsaw on a stick with a foam wrapped handle that is coming loose and have big pieces missing. Why not try to wrap it with handlebar foam tape instead? The product comes with two rolls of the foam tape, and some end pieces for the handle bars that I will not be using. The tape is light weight, thick, and on the back is a strip in the middle with adhesive. When putting it on, I stretch the tape out and wrap it tightly. I overlap each wrap slightly to make it thicker. It feels as thick as the previous foam handle, and I believe it will stay on better as well. I like the graphic print on the tape, even if I will not be looking at it much.

This Bucklos bar tape feels identical to other brands of EVA tape I’ve used. I like EVA because it’s cheap and effective. This tape doesn’t have any outer coating for enhanced grip, but I like that because those layers tend to wear quickly. The printed pattern may rub off, but that doesn’t bother me. The thickness is 3.46 mm, which again feels pretty standard. The tape has a strip of adhesive on the back, but I was able to peel that off and discard it. If you don’t use the adhesive, it’s easier to re-wrap as needed. The length of the tape is a little stingy, but it was just long enough if I only overlapped ⅓ as directed. I did cut off 2 to 3 inches per strip to cover the brifter clamps, and I did use the adhesive on those pieces. It’s really nice that the package includes 2 types of bar plugs: friction fit and expanding clamp. I guess some people may prefer the friction fit because they weigh a little less, but I value the security of the clamping kind. I don’t usually use the included tape to finish the ends, but I thought I would try it. It was stretchy and felt something like a Bandaid. One side started to come loose after the first ride, so I’ll be switching that out for electrical tape. Other than being on the shorter side, this is decent handlebar tape.

I've taped a number of bars in my day, found this tape to be "OK". It stretches very little, which makes it hard to get it to conform to the bends of one's bars. The pattern is ok, but in the end, I found it did little for my bike.Pros:- longer than many brands- interesting pattern- includes four end-plugs (two that have an Allen screw - nice!)- cushyCons:- very little stretch or "give"

The is an early review, so I'll upate it if anything changes, as these are only my initial thoughts & I haven't had a chance to ride much with it yet.So far this seems like very nice tape. I must have sensitive hands or something because road bike drop bars always make my hands hurt. Ive done what I Can to dampen the vibration (got bars that are elongated along the top, added Zipp vibration dampening pads underneath the bar tape & last year bought Enve bar tape, which is twice as expensive as this stuff, but wins a lot of online reviews for most padded bar tape.So far, this tape seems very close to the envelope. It was easy enough to get onto the bars, but if you havne' tonne it before, watch the Park Tools video on installing bar tape for some handy pointers. It's hard to tell any difference from the enve tape. They both seem equally padded and well made. The padding might show up differently once it warms up enough to do some lion rides & if that's the case, I will update my review accordingly, but so far, it's nice.It also has a nice tactile feel to it. The tape is slightly grippy but not tacky, exactly how you want bar tape to feel. It seems well made & I'm guessing that it will last a long time, but again, we'll see as time goes on.The one thing I'm not wild about is the graphics on the tape. I wish they offered a plain black version of the tape, but they don't. Make sure you zoom in on the pictures to make sure you can live with the pictures on the one you choose as there are some that are the same, except for color, and then some with completely different designs. For half the price of my last bar tape, bt seemingly the same quality, I can live with the graphics I chose.
