No issues with these, they work just as well as the OEM kind.

Worked well, more expensive that using a standard 1/4 inch nut.

I was looking for a way to make and use some “custom” hold down tools for my CNC. I’ve already got some small hold downs and they work OK for many things but they lack when it’s a large or unusual shaped items. T-track can have different shapes or different sizes brand to brand even when they claim the same dimensions. Because of this I did not want to get t-nuts designed to fit snug in the tracks like spring loaded aluminum extrusion t-nuts. When I found these “economy” t-nuts I decided to give them a try, the cost being very reasonable certainly helped this out as well. These appear to be made from cast zinc, while not the strongest material so far they have been doing just fine with no issues. The threads are formed well enough and aside from a little burr on 1 or 2 so far they thread cleanly. My first use of these t-nuts was to make a hold down clamp for my CNC and it works better than I thought it might. Because there are 20 in the pack I don’t feel bad about leaving them installed on custom fixtures, well at least till I run out. So far no real negatives after understanding these are sold as “economy”. Overall I’m glad I chose them and I’m sure I’ll get good use from them.

These fit well in my t-track and the threads seem smooth. If you're in the market for this type of nut, should definitely work. That said, I apparently wasn't thinking when I ordered these as I should have ordered t bolts....These are nuts that allow a threaded rod/bolt to fully pass through. so in t-track, when they're tight, the bolt will be sticking out the back of the nut and pressing against the track. I'm sure that's perfectly fine, but I don't like the idea of scratching the inside of my brand new blue track (and yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds). But rather than returning, since I have some 1/4" threaded rod, I'm going to just cut that, use a little thread lock, and make my own bolts from this nut pack. Easy enough.

I have done a few projects using 15-series (1.5”) aluminum extrusion, and have a couple more in the planning phase. I ordered these to potentially use to attach some plywood to the faces of one planned project. However, these are narrower than most for 15-series which is exacerbated by the ¼” bolt size, as such with the bolt at one side of the t-slot there is not much of the nut holding on the opposite edge and I fear that they would potentially pull through and/or deform the extrusion. I don’t think this problem would exist with a 5/16” bolt size which would remain more centered. I tried these in 1” series extrusion as well as some typical aluminum t-track, but they are too wide for both.

The 20-pack is great value for the price. With so many T-nuts in the pack, I have plenty for multiple projects, and I don’t have to worry about running out anytime soon. One of the best things about these slide-in T-nuts is how easy they are to use. They slide smoothly into the T-slots of the aluminum extrusion, and once they're in place, they lock firmly, providing a secure grip for whatever project I'm working on.

I tried these nuts in 3 different t-tracks and they didn't fit any of them. I guess I don't know what a 15 series track is!

These are needed in making diy knobs and clamps.
