These are incredibly stout and provide the needed security and support that I needed for my project: adding a new sink and routing drain pipes across an exterior wall.

These stud shoes work great for 1 1/2" and 2" PVC drain pipes. They not only provide additional strength to bored 2 X 4s, but they also provide nail guard protection for the PVC. The metal has a good thickness to guard against nails and screws, and it fit the 2 X 4 snug. They are simple to install and don't take much effort. The stud shoes work great.
