Far as I know it works.we were in the woods and didn’t have a problem and trust me the bugs love me and none of us got killed by the bugs. Were 8 of us kids and adults in the woods hiking and also should also tell you lots of small pounds and weeds. HAPPY!

Whenever I mow the lawn in the evening, little black gnats are constantly terrorizing me by flying into my head and face. DEET has no effect. So now, I spray this on my head, neck and shoulders. It smells much better than DEET and leaves no residue. The little monsters still fly around my head but they don't light on my skin like they did before. That's an improvement, at least.

I absolutely love this bug spray! I always get destroyed by mosquitos and chiggers. This Buggins bug spray totally protects me. It’s essential oils but a little more. The best part: it smells amazing and I don’t feel like I need a shower when I use it.I don’t feel like I have to reapply any more often than other bug sprays and when it wears off, it is gone - I don’t feel icky from it. And it isn’t toxic and choking when I apply. People always want to know what it is. They really leveled it up with this type of misting spray (instead of a standard pump spray)Just the best bug spray ever!!

I like to sit out on my deck in Wisconsin where the state bird is the mosquito. I don't like using chemicals on my skin. This is a very peppermint smell that works right away. Remember to take your glasses and watch off if you're using it because it will leave a film on your lenses.I find that after about an hour I need to reapply. This does not irritate my sensitive skin like many other sprays do. I find the smell quite pleasant. It also has not stained my clothing.

Living in Florida, the gnats are so bad I can't walk down the street without them attacking my face. This.....AMAZING!! They stay away. They might come near me, but don't get on my skin. My grandfather has skin cancer, an exposed tumor. The gnats swarmed it once. We used this spray (covering the tumor while spraying) no bugs!! We enjoy being outside again!!! I've been sharing this with my whole family.

I bought some of this last year and was impressed with how well it worked for me. I am a buffalo gnat magnet - which is particularly a bad thing for me because I have a severe allergic reaction to them (like needing to carry an epi pen just in case). Needless to say, I will try anything that claims it will keep them away that doesn't contain DEET. I live in Iowa, the home of the buffalo gnat. If this product didn't work I was going to buy netting to protect my face and neck when I was outdoors. I'm all for being considered 'mysterious' or even a little 'unique' but there's not much allure in running around in a beekeepers hat!I tried this product and it works for me really, really well. It has a very sweet - almost cloying smell which isn't terrible, but I am not a fan of vanilla, geranium or rose-based essences. But if it works, I will run around smelling like a Popsicle.We put this to a great test this year. We are wildlife photographers and have been wearing it while in the meadows and the woods to keep the gnats at bay. You need to reapply once in awhile - especially if you sweat a lot. We carry a bottle of this in the pocket of our cargo pants and use as-needed. We don't use it for protection from ticks however, it isn't meant for that. We use a DEET-based repellant on our clothing for ticks.Buy one bottle and give it a try. I don't think you will regret it. Try it on a hot night in your backyard - pretty sure you will be ordering more for your 4th of July picnic and fireworks. Use it on the baby and your children - it is safe for them. Although, use it on a small spot on their skin the first time and wait 24 hours to make sure they do not have a reaction to any of the ingredients before applying all over. (Don't miss your ears!)
