DERPIPE Pneumatic Push to Connect Tube Fitting
DERPIPE Bulkhead Union Fittings connect two tubes through a panel or other base material and can easily change the tubing connector direction. Body and collar are made of Brass, gripping ring is stainless steel, and D seal and O-rings are Nitrile. Product Features
The push to connect air fitting has excellent flow performance and can pass the same flow as the inner diameter of the pneumatic tube. After installation, the direction of the pipeline can be changed freely, and the air pipe can be manually inserted or pulled out without tools.
Metric threads with sealing rings ensure leak-free threaded connections. There are enough threads to allow the fitting to pass through a large base material. Nuts are large enough to grip the substrate. Nickel-plated copper body resists corrosion for a wider range of applications.
Works great for connecting air hoses. The clip is made of solid plastic material and the stainless steel tube gripping claws ensure that the air hoses are not easy to fall off. The disconnection and connection of the push to connect bulkhead is simple and convenient, and the connection part with the pneumatic tube is safe, reliable and durable.

Air Leakage Problems:
1. There will be gaps in the threaded connection and there will be slight air leakage, which needs to be solved by wrapping the PTFE tape.
2. Poor sealing ring contact: The pneumatic tube is not cut flat, resulting in poor sealing ring contact, which causes air leakage. Please cut the pneumatic tube flatly and reinsert it into the connector.
3. Sealing ring damage: excessive air pressure and unclean gas cause the sealing ring to be damaged. Please select high-pressure and corrosion-resistant joints according to actual use requirements, and install filters in the gas path.
4. Aging of the sealing ring: During the use of the joint, the aging of the sealing ring is unavoidable. Air leakage will occur over time, and moisture in the compressed air will aggravate the aging of the sealing ring. This should be taken into account when using the connector.

I put two of these on the top of a metal lid with a glass jar I use a vacuum pump to suck out fluids that I don't want to get into my vacuum it works out well.

I wanted to try these in the lids of DIY co2 generators. The co2 tubing fits well into them, but unfortunately, they are far from leak-proof. I added O-rings in every possible place they could leak, but still had gas escaping. Finally, I had to resort to silicone gluing the heck out of them around all the leaking areas, & even had to follow up with some super glue in a few places. After that, they did the job.Of course, you need a large-enough generator container lid for them to fit, b/c they're pretty big. I can fit one in a 2 lt pop lid, but when applying the extra glue, you have to be really careful not to get any on the threads of the lid, or it won't go on the container. Not that easy, but when done, it did work.Probably would work better for other uses, but I don't see how you'd stop the leakage then, either, except as described.

I bought these bulkhead fittings for an air ride project on a car. They only way these will possibly hold air is if there is no force on the connected air lines, nothing is vibrating and the clouds in the sky are still. If you sneeze too close to the lines, it's enough sideways pressure to cause these to leak. Imaging driving down the road! Meanwhile those brass colored elbows in the photo work perfectly no matter how hard I bend the lines. Spend more for some quality bulkheads. I don't like leaving bad reviews but these bulkhead fittings deserve 0 stars to protect buyers from a waste of time.

Poor quality. Leak. Installed onto a project and 3 out of 4 leaked right out of the box. The 4th took less than a week to start leaking. Will not buy again.
