The ropes are not of good quality. My dog had them chewed off within the first 12 hours of opening.

My 5 month old mal loves it, definitely not a chew toy but good for tug of War. Good size, too.

This is my favorite toy by far. I love that we can use it in a few different ways. It's great for tug, and when we play this we practice drop-it and then sit or down before I toss it to him to catch. He also likes to run around with one end in his mouth while I try to grab it from him and then we can tug end to end too. We've had it for a while now and I'm confident it will hold up well.

Zeus loves this tug toy and I do too! The two handles make this the perfect toy as it gives a better balance when playing tug-a-toy. This product is well made with reinforced stitching to ensure long-term use. Thank you for this great product!

I am a K9 handler and use these as reward tugs I love them durable and small enough to fit in your back pocket! They are not continuous chew toys though!! But so far the cheapest I've found and last a long time!

Had this tug for over a week and it's still in one piece. My staffy normally goes through them like butter, this has stood up to our games of tug. Great tool for training and games.Highly recommend for rough and tough dogs.

The material is durable but the stitching on the edges is weak. I got maybe 4 or 5 tug sessions before an edge came loose... The loops on the end are are bit short too so they're kind of tight to hang onto. For moderate dogs these are probably fine but if you have a hard biter or trasher I wouldn't recommend.

I was so impressed with the K9 Tug Toy I purchased that I got a second one - to keep clean for working in the house.I’d purchased the orange tug with one handle. I’ve never encouraged any of my dogs tugging because I’ve always worked with Service Dogs. My new pup was a little hesitant to hand over items he retrieved, maybe because I was having him hand over items immediately. With his personality, someone suggested I prolong our “reward” interaction by working with a tug toy. It’s really helped and I’m very pleased with the quality of this particular brand. It’s sturdy but soft enough that it doesn’t hurt my hands. I wanted to try the 2 handled tug to see if it was even easier to work with. This new tug is also well constructed. It’s narrower in diameter and not as rigid. I immediately noticed that my pups bites were making a much deeper indentation and the tug was bending. Something I didn’t experience with the 1 handled tug.Working with tugs is new to me, and I’m not sure if the two handled tug is designed to be thinner because it’s being supported at both ends. Because I have smaller hands and my pup is a large, strong 8 month old, I’m finding it hard to hang on to the narrower tug. I have limited strength because of an injury and find holding the handles, rather then the tug itself, is more difficult.I’ll try working with this new tug and see how it goes.

Great and durable training tug, my malinois-pittie mix loves when any of his Bull Fit tugs come out!I purchased this linen two-handle tug at the same time as another Bull Fit two-handle firehose tug to see which fabric my dog and I liked using better. It's held up well like my other two Bull Fit firehose tugs and offers my dog a little better grip than the firehose material. After using both linen and firehose, my personal preference is for the firehose material, as it's a little slower than the linen to get soaked with slobber, and is seems to be a little more odor resistant than the linen to the dried slobber smell between washes (both tugs are machine washable though, which is really nice). My dog doesn't seem to have a preference, he's just pumped whenever any of his Bull Fit tugs come out, but the linen does seem to keep him slightly more engaged specifically when we're tugging in close quarters (in the bedroom as opposed to outside) and/or if he's already tired from agility/playing/training/hiking. The linen in general seems to keep hesitant or soft-mouth dogs more engaged when I've used it working with other dogs. This tug is holding up wonderfully with minimal signs of wear after 9 months of weekly use. The quality of the stitching and material seem really good.I've purchased a couple other of Bull Fit's tugs (the singe-handle firehose tug and the above-mentioned two-handle firehose tug) for working with different dogs / in different situations, and they are of a similar high quality. I will continue to recommend/purchase Bull Fit tugs.Reminder to non-professionals and new trainers: this is a tug toy, not a chew toy, don't leave your dog to possess this after playing/training with you.

I got this for my working line GSD to develop grip and it is a very firm and sturdy tug.Well worth the money I spent on it.Great quality, considering it's from Amazon and not a dog sport gear store.

I have two dogs and one of them is obsessed with playing tug, but also likes us to throw toys. This thing is sturdy enough for the dogs to play with each other, with us, and for a variety of different activities. We use it mostly indoors but have taken it to the park or out in the yard. Easy to rinse dirt off.Be careful with the straps and keep them out of doggy mouths. They can get roughed up, and they’re not as resistant to biting as the main toy. Ours hasn’t broken but can tell it has been chomped a few times.
