These worked great for scooping up yard debris in the spring yard cleaning. The handles are sturdy and hold your hands securely in place when grabbing a bunch of debris to dump in your lawn & leaf bag. I used my small hand rake to clear debris from around bushes and plants and left it in piles at the edge of the beds and used these "claws" to easily pick up the piled debris. It was way more efficient than using my lawn rake and trying to hold debris in place with my free hand and then dump into the bag. Once it was piled, I was able to scoop more debris faster and easily dump it in my bag. I would highly recommend these. After I bought these on Amazon, I started seeing them in my local hardware stores for the same price. But, they were available on Amazon when I needed them.

My grandson helps me in the garden so I got these for him to use. He loves them but I don't think they'll last more than two seasons as they are a little flimsy. I have to admit they do make picking up the raked leaves much easier.

This is a little gadget that works. It is made in the USA and does what it is suppose to do. I have hundred of trees and this helps in the leaf cleanup. I love it.

These are amazing. They are great to scoop up small sticks, leaves, debris in the yard and dump into the compost bag or bin. You have protection from thorns and don't have to keep bending over with your hands as everything slips through. I am also finding them way more convenient than using a rake to lift/scoop everything as well.

I'm very pleased with these. I've been using another brand of scoop for a while that has a smooth front edge (versus the "toothy" front edge that these have) and am finding the toothy edge to be far more useful when pulling leaves out of mulched beds. The teeth do not scoop up nearly as much mulch as the smooth edge version.The only task where the smooth edge scoops work better is when scooping up leaves from a hard surface, such as a driveway or patio. These are OK for those tasks, but need a couple of passes when picking up small leaves or pine needles.The overall build quality is decent -- certainly appropriate for the price. There is some flex to the plastic which is good, since it makes it less prone to cracking compared with rigid plastic. The handles are reasonably comfortable to use. Some padding on the back side would have been nice, but it's not bad at all with bare hands, and very comfortable when wearing gloves.The scoops nest together well for storage and have a hole for hanging on the wall, which is a nice touch.Overall, I'm very pleased with these. I happened to get them on a price dip, but even at the regular price it's a 4.5 star product (rounded up to 5).
