Well overall the rake has worked good for raking over the last 1 year. It has a different approach angle than the plastic rakes and is a tad heavier. You do get used to it rather quickly though. The first week I had it I got cut pretty bad on my finger because the rivet that holds the rake head to the handle had a very sharp edge on it(pictured). I didn’t know and twirled and slid the rake down into my hand and it got me.Secondly I added pictures of where the tines broke off, 9 in total since April of 2023.Overall good rake this the 4 stars. Wish there was something that last longer but oh well. Will probably get another.

I have used both for years! Plastic forks just do not hold up when used to pick up behind cattle and horses in rough floor stalls. I worked at a LARGE Arab farm and they had both. I LOVED the metal forks but seldom find them for sale locally! This arrived and I have been able to keep the stall area cleaner and nicer! GOOD product!

The handle is not the strongest, it was bent when I got it because it wasn't in a box, just a plastic bag. I think it had something heavy dropped on it during shipping. I have to be careful when I use it so the handle doesn't snap in half but other than that I love this fork! I use it to clean out horse stalls and I have been using it for about 6 months now and I haven't had any of the prongs on the end bend or break off yet so that is pretty sturdy. I know I could have returned it since it was damaged when I got it but I really needed it at the time and it is much better than any you can find at Tractor Supply. Great tool!

This is a sturdy fork, but it's unusable for us. I tried it in sand, grass, rubber mats, concrete, etc. to pick up hay and horse manure. The cross bar that provides stability is welded to the bottom of the tines. This causes it to grab the ground and whatever you're trying to pick up. If you get anything on the fork, it'll only go about halfway. One might think the manure would be fine and would go on top of the tines, but that cross bar prevents an easy slide under the manure to pick it up. Much more frustrating than it's worth. Id like to return these if anyone's paying attention...

I use this type of tool for scooping items like rocks that have been raked up, or leaf piles. The tines allow soil to fall through but capture the rocks and they seem to do a better job of scooping up leaves and branches then a flat shovel or wide tined pitch fork. While not a tool that beginning home owners will need to rush out and buy, it makes life much easier once you already have purchased the standard shovels and rakes. This one made by bully tools is well made with a strong handle and well designed head where the handle meets the tool. This is my second bully tool, after buying one of their heavy duty pointed shovels. I will continue to buy their products because of their sturdy design, affordable price, and because bully tools are made in the USA.
