This thing is stout. It’s a bit heavy and I would love a shorter handle to use as a one hand cultivating tool, but this thing will last forever.

Oh my gosh - the description was not lying. This is one of those tools that will outlive an individual and can be passed on down. I do not see how anything could destroy it. It is the perfect size for working in the garden. It is heavy so if you are bending or sitting on a bench working in a garden, it is not as light as a hand tool.....but do love the durability. Great for working with large garden boxes. Do not use like a regular size tool because you will be bending......love it and would recommend it!

A little long, for quick small pan usage. It is very heavy fiberglass handle also. Because of the weight of handle, rated it a three star. If lighter would have gotten a five star. So heavy it will need two hands to use. My use is for mortar repairs in small portions. Built strong and tough for sure.

This mason/mortar hoe works very well and appears to be very durable. It is easy to clean and should prove to be an invaluable tool over the years.
