This product, Jack LaLane Power Juicer, Is NOT “New” ! It is a Used juicer and smells of Orange juice and Apples. The included manual and recipes booklets are worn and faded from Use. There is a Ring of juicer stains in the connection point of midsection and Top. Not happy at all.

This juicer did a great job on the first two used. It died on the third use.

After reading many reviews I chose to buy Jack La Lane Juicer.I find it easy to use and many receipes to follow in their book.Makes great juice without pulp.Fruit and vegtables are ground into a course pulp and dumpedinto the lage container in the back of the unit. The shredder is very sharp and does an amazing job.One must take every precaution when handling the shredder as to notinjure oneself by cutting a finger. A brush is recommended when cleaning it.Be sure to rinse and wash the entire removable parts of the unit as soon asyour preparation of fruits and vegtables are complete as the clean up at thatstage is a breeze. i would not recommend letting it stand and get dry, as it is harder toremove, I am told. I wash mine by hand though it maybe put into a dishwasher. ( a step I don't find I need)

I have only owned three juicers but this is the best so far. The large opening takes apples and oranges easily. Unlike most centrifugal juicers, it is actually able to get some liquid out of leafy greens. Not as well as an auger juice extractor, but well enough that you can get value from the greens that you buy for juicing. Disassembly, cleaning and reassembly is fast and easy.Almost all of the pulp makes it into the ejection bin and what little sticks to the top cowl is easily scooped off with the fingers and dropped into the bin. The pulp is very dry which shows that most juice was successfully extracted. This juicer is also much quieter than my last one. I bought it used-as-new and it really was as-new. I would buy the same model again if I needed another one.

After talking to a local man who beat cancer with his Jack LaLanne juicer, I was convinced this was the one for me. It is relatively inexpensive and gets the job done to my satisfaction. I also like that it is quiet in operation. It is a good entry level juicer for someone like me who is just beginning to discover the world and benefits of juicing. I have had no problems with it, and I use it every morning. I would not hesitate to recommend this juicer to anyone.

I bought this for my girlfriend because when we saw this juicer on TV we thought it would be a good item to have to make juice without all the hassle that old juicers used to be. She was happy with the performance and about the fact that you can put it together quickly. It can effectively juice many fruits and they do not get stuck like on other juicers. This juicer gets the most juice out of fruit when compared to other juicers. She also liked the measuring cup that comes with it..its really helpful. But it is a little too heavy for her when she carries the juicer fully assembled and it also takes a lot of space for storage if it is not disassembled first. Even though they included a brush to clean the fruit residue out of the juicer parts, cleaning the filter is still hard and takes some time. After about a year and a half of having this juicer, one day the juicer began tumbling as soon as I turned it on. After about 3 more uses the tumbling went away.Overall, it does what it is supposed to do but we think it is too much hassle to clean and to find a place to store all the pieces.

It will do anything that has a consistency even remotely close to an apple. Any of your solid fruits veggies, carrot, cucumber, beat, kohlrabi, potato, fennel anything like that. Now it dose have some draw backs, the screen gets clogged on a regular bases, the entrance mouth thoe nice for hole things dose not like small stuff. Parsley for example needs to be put in densely or waded up, even then there is still a good about of pulp from small stuff you put it. The pulp that comes out if farley dry, but when the screen gets full the pulp is typical of low end centrifugal juicers. Now here is what I like, IT'S QUIET!!!, no really you can actually use an "inside voice" while juicing (a vary pleasant surprise that, that was true), POWER it's got power to spare the base IS the motor, one big induction motor. It has not slowed down excessively yet, not one time. From what I've used in the past it's short comings are made up buy how easy and fast it is to clean. I only juice about a glass at a time so this may not apply to you... but for me it takes every bit of 8 minutes to clean AND dry after juicing total. All you got to do is use the sprayer before it dries up. Also it seems to be holding up to stains, but again I fully clean it soon after juicing.I've seen many juicers and had a few my self, this is not the best one but for around $100 it not a bad deal for moderate home use.
