Works well, mates well with other Acme threads. The lead-in taper on the tap is pretty long-deep tapping with it can get fussy. If you're cutting threads with the die, there's a tendency to slip in the holder on some tougher materials. It might have been nice to have a hex die instead. 1/2 in Acme does take a fair amount of force-my die holders. Otherwise, it all works great.
