I had great hopes for this. This was mounted on a 7mm PRC. I was using a Zee ring from burris, but it wasn't tall enough for my scope. Those have thinner pos-align rings, but with a little extra tightening, they worked fine. I could never get these to work, and ended up damaging my very expensive Swarovski x5i with these. I mounted and demounted the scope three times in the rings, offset -10 in the front and +10 in the back. It would appear held well, but after a few rounds to sight in, the scope would shift forward. The last time I tightened way past the normal 20 in'lbs (try close to 40) as you can tighten these since the plastic pos-align will compress. After less than ten rounds it was once again shifted forward and this time the eyepiece hit the rail and cut into it. Returning them and trying a taller zee ring this time.

I've been using Burris rings for over 10 years. They do very well from my little 22s up to hard recoiling 338LM and my old .50 BMG single shot.

Strong hold. A little pricey but you’ll never use anything else.

I like these rings in order to set my scope zero near the bottom of my scope's elevation travel. With choice of 0, 10 and 20 MOA inserts I am able to fine tune the zero location so most the scope's elevation range is available to click up for long range shooting.

10-22 with Ares BTR 4.5-27x50Elevation was maxed out at about 150 yards with subsonics, and my base was steel bedded to the receiver years ago, so I needed a way to recover some lost adjustment range.Setup was simple and easy. Just took a little bit of math and the chart supplied in the instructions.Per the chart, at 3.5' between the rings, I would get about 40 MOA from the 30 MOA inserts.Installed as directed and everything worked out great.I went from 4 mils of Up to 18 mils, and now I can run the subs at 250 and beyond with no hold over.If you need to convert mils to MOA there are plenty of resources out there for doing so.1 mil = 3.47 MOA, so 40 MOA gave me 11.5 mils more elevation adjustment.PS: I had a video, but A doesn't like pictures of g-words in their reviews of things that go on g-words. I purchased these to be able to adjust the scope impact up over 11 inches more when I reached the maximum 'up' adjustment of the scope. These are solid rings, very sturdy. You can find cheaper mounts but not ones that can adjust the point of impact like these can. For the price, you get a quality product that will last a lifetime. Follow the directions to achieve the best results.

Needed strong mounts for an AR-10. Worked GREAT. Installed as zero MOA / [put zero moa on bottom, and -5 on top] Torqued to 25 inch pounds, and used loctite. HOWEVER, I can't understand why Burris would charge what they do for these, and send them in a fancy expensive waterproof case, when after they have been installed, you are left with that case that your wallet won't even fit in. It's a very nice case... I cant throw it away, yet I cannot find a use for it. They should lower the price, and ship them in a sturdy cardboard box. To buy this type of case out right would be at least $25.00, and I would rather have paid less for the rings. Good and solid, I'm happy with the performance. Weird case though.

Very nicely made kit, everything is finished perfectly, fits perfectly, installs easily. These rings are beefy and not going anywhere. Plus they add a proper scope cant while staying low to the action, another plus for me.

Excellent quality and functionality, that deserves 5 stars. However clearer instructions would be nice and simpler packaging, it basically comes in a small "Pelican" like case (overkill for the need). The price is also high and the premium paid for the innovative features is excessive in my opinion which is why I give it an overall of 4 stars.

Killer rings, ripoff price....no way on earth these things cost 200 dollars to manufacture. Mounted on my 300 WSM with no problems so far, scope has no marks.
