I have to do an update. After going through Amazon’s review process, and leaving the semi- negative review below, I was finally contacted by their consumer support. I gave them a lengthy productive feedback on the issues me and others were having especially with spring clips that didn’t fit their flares, either wrong spring clips or slot location defects in their production line. I sent them similar pics as here and dealt with couple different people there. Afterwards they sent me package tracking info for not new longer spring clips but for totally new set of 4 flares, and all. Seems that the slots locations were the problem and original clips now fit new flares. The cuts for fender grooves were inconsistent as before but my main concern was the slots, so I’m happy. I will modify any slots this time around if I need too to make sure spring clips work properly. It’s is too bad that I had to go through Amazon route inorder to get a response from their customer support because once we were in contact with each other, things went better than I expected. They respected their warranty policies and promptly sent a replacement. Initially when I tried contacting them day one, all I needed was permission to modify slots to work while maintaining their warranty. But now they should be aware of QC issue that may be randomly occurring or worst. I would like to give a 5 star for service i finally received, but I will update my score to 4 star so if anyone else is having similar issues, they may read my review and see a possible route to take for service.Old review below.Bushwacker will not address quality control, manufacturing defects or warranty issues. They state U.S.A. Quality#1, guarantee fit. Not all Flares were perfectly cut to fit. Notch to groove in fender were missing, rubber seal would not cover gap. Clip slots in flares were in wrong location from edge, or spring clips supplied were too short to work as designed. I try day one to get issues resolved but no response from Bushwacker. So I installed flares knowing they will one day fall off and they did. And did damage to wheel well lip too. I now tried contacting bushwacker and real trucks for warranty replacement of now missing clips, of proper length clips as this is workmanship defect/ quality control issue too, both cover under warranty, and no response from either. Amazon just sent me a form to reply to about my issue, thanks. But unless you are willing to void Bushwacker’s warranty by modifying flares to install properly, I would not recommend to buying these flares. As per other reviews, similar issues were stated. And as for contacting Bushwacker for anything other than buying, they do not respond. Their flares looked great on my truck, too bad their quality control and service is not as they state.

Vendor delivered quickly and within time promised. That being said for the money (3x more than similar generic products) these flares should fit PERFECTLY.Even though I followed the instructions to the letter there is a small gap between the front end fascia and the leading edge of one of the front flares (see photo).

I gave the product an overall total of three starsHowever, I would like to break it down further. These are very good quality items, fit and finish, very good. 4.5 starsInstallation, easy to average 4 starsThe reason for the 3 star overall rating is the attachment hardware for the front fender flares. Specifically the plastic expanding screws. They didn't hold or tighten properly into the smaller inside plastic mount supplied. The rear fender flares are perfect, hard attachment points, steel clips. For the price, which is substantially more expensive (and two days after receiving they offered s $50 cupon) than the competition, it would be nice if they incorporated a steel insert or clip within the secondary attachment for stronger overall attachment points. The rubber lining is time consuming to put on, but by the time you get to the fourth flare you'll be an expert. Stainless self locking bolts & nuts are nice addition.I very much like the look and extra protection.

Shipping was very fast. The holes did not line up perfectly but with persistence I managed to get them installed. They look fantastic on my 2010 F-150 XLT so it was worth the trouble.

Installed on 2010 Ford F-150 XLT. Was a little harder to install the rears than I expected but got them done. These are a great fit and look great. I bought these bc I had rust starting over the back wheel well due to rock chips. I got the rust removed, treated the area with rust conversion and then sealed it up with primer then, because I don’t have super bondo and paint skills, I covered the area with the fender. After installing them and knowing that no metal gets screwed or scratched in the process and seeing how good they look, I would install these on a new truck just to protect the areas they cover.

They were pretty simple to install. When I first opened the box I was worried they were going to look cheap but after they were put on the truck looks great! I would recommend this product to others. Before and after pictures so you can see the difference

I love these Bushwacker Fender Flares. They are very well made; look awesome, and they hug the body of my truck perfectly even without the rubber inserts which I left off. I had them painted the Ford Pale Adobe color and also added a two-tone paint job to my pick-up. Now my XLT looks like the two-tone Lariat package but better because my bumpers are still chrome. The painted bumpers on any Pick-up look goofy in my opinion.

I was looking for something that would protect the paint around the wheel wells on my new truck. The tires that come on the new Fords are terrible at throwing rocks on gravel roads, and salt and sand on black top roads. The extend-a-fenders do exactly what I wanted them to do, which is stop rocks from flying up at the side of my truck. They also obviously protect the 3/4" of steel wheel well that is nicely painted right above the tire. They look really good with all the other black that is on my truck. I also wanted to put mud flaps on, and was able to do so without drilling any new holes in steel (had to drill one hole in plastic for front flare.Read below) . I installed both the flares and mud flaps without drilling steel. The mud flaps are a really heavy universal rubber flap that I got at our local parts store. Together with the flares they look great and protect my truck. You may want to allow a little extra time to what it says for installing the Extend-A-Fenders, as it did not take the 1.5 hours they talked about. It was more like 3 to 4 hours. The hardest part is getting the rubber trim edge on straight and neat. On my 2010 it did ask to drill one 1/4" hole in the "bumper cover." This is simply some red plastic (on my red truck) that is right behind the bumper for the front flare. No big deal. Over all I am very pleased. Nice product. They are on secure and tight.

I bought these to protect a new truck from light brush, WalMart parkers and give a custom look at lower than OEM expense. At 1/4 of that cost, I thought of painting them, but didn't and the matte black has looked good. One has taken some light scratch/scuff from a highway barrel (plastic), that careened off the front bumper. They fit perfectly before and after that incident, though I probably need a new clip on on the one that took the hit. There is a wild hog problem on my place out of state and they can be hunted either with a 25-06, AR-15, or F-150, and these covers hang on well there. The body shop buddy that put them on had a guy do it easily for $80, and they are tight and fit well with some overhang at the stock chrome bumper, since I run a standard wheel and tire package, with no Raptor fascia. If you are putting on a larger set of off road tires, these would look great also. I have brushed against Ranch gates and with careful maneuver gotten off with only a scuff. These use your light OEM/stock hardware to stay on, so don't expect to hit a tree with them at any speed, but they will protect your finish if you take care. I am very pleased and have the only truck in town so configured. They look stylish and custom. No mods were necessary and the shop said they could not see where road gravel could get inside the these covers. They have done a pretty good job as mud flaps to keep dirt off most of the finish except from splashes and on the lowest body areas. It's a truck!I'm happy with the product. I would usually reserve 5 stars for their condition when I trade it in 6 years or so. Recommended.
