This busy book has a lot of fun activities covering a variety of different concepts. My four year old has enjoyed playing with it. It probably helped build anticipation to watch me spend a large chunk of the morning setting the book up. This was a lot of work! I will admit, though, it was a lot less work than buying a busy book PDF, printing, laminating, cutting, and assembling. The pieces were well-perforated and easy to work with. There are extra Velcro pieces for accidents or repairs. It did take a while to attach the Velcro, but the book and pieces were clearly marked to align the Velcro. So far the pieces are holding up, although I’m a little concerned since they are cardstock and not laminated. The activities are very engaging, and I like that dry erase and scissor activities were included for variety. The scissors actually cut paper much better than anticipated. There are some places in the book that have labeling that do not match with standard American English. For example, a fried over-easy egg is labeled as an omelette. However, I think most children who would be enjoying this book wouldn’t notice or be bothered by these quirks.

Lots of activities. It worked great for traveling by plane with a 4 year old. It kept her busy for a coupe of hours. Even putting the little Velcro-like tabs on the pages was a shared activity (maybe not so much with a toddler). It’s perfect for traveling because everything is self contained, in the spiral notebook and in its own box. I’d recommend purchasing a pair of child’s safety scissors separately, because the pair included is 100% plastic and is not easy to cut with. Other than that, everything is included.

The BusyDino Busy Book for Toddlers is a well packaged learning tool. There were Ooos and Ahhhhs by my little guy when he saw it and all that came with it. I love the bright colors and all the activities it gives him. We worked together to assemble the velcro on the back of the punch-out figures. Then I applied the opposite velcro pieces to the dotted circle locations indicated on the cardboard pages. I can see how this can be used more many months to boost his learning for preschool/kindergarten.I like how organized we can keep the parts and pieces (the book, scissors, pens, punched-out pieces) in the supplied sturdy pouch that you can zip shut. Everything fits back into the cardboard box it came in to make it easy to place on a shelf for later use. This would make a very nice gift to a friend with small children.

Really nicely made children’s busy book. This one is much better compared to others I’ve gotten. The pages are nice, glossy, and thick. It comes with so much as well…. The scissors and markers are great and the bag is a nice touch and would be great for on the go. Great value for money.The most cumbersome part is putting it together (as others have mentioned) so definitely take 15-20 minutes or so to put it together before bringing it out to your child... I think it would be great for all ages, but definitely around 3 to 4+ as there are a lot of small pieces and lots of different play scenes ranging from easy to difficult.Overall I’m really impressed and would definitely recommend.

Got this for the toddler and even below three they are able to figure it out for the most part, sometimes might need to help them a bit by showing them how it's done first but they get it later on. Some amount of setup as you need to apply the velcro adhesive buttons to each of the 150 pieces, but not a big deal. While I like it included child safe scissors I think it's too difficult for them to get right at the time to do and there's not much to do with the pieces once cut out.The wipe-clean drawing pages for the markers is a lot of fun for them to draw and being able to erase makes it a very handy activity to repeat. Similar for the matching activity they're colorful and interesting for the kid to figure out which has drawn their attention for a great deal of time especially when multiple of each page has a fun unique theme. Overall, I would definitely recommend this as a great time distraction for the kid to play with and introduce them to multiple colorful different themes of activities.

I am really impressed with all the activities this toddler busy book has to offer. We ordered this one to put in our grandson's Easter basket, and he is going to be thrilled. Because he is under three years old, we plan on removing the safe scissors as he is too young to use them yet. He will love the stickers and velcro activity pieces. The colors are bright and attractive. The graphics are appealing for little ones.

This is a great set with lots of pages and pieces. It did take me probably an hour or more to assemble it. It wasn't difficult, just time consuming. The velcro dots need to be attached to each little cutout shape and to each spot on each page that fits one of those shapes. They make it very easy to place by having printed circles on the backs of the cutouts and on the pages. I only had to redo two of them because the circles didn't line up right and the shape ended up way off from where it was supposed to be. Each card with the cutout shapes has a page number on it so you know which page it corresponds to. The shapes are very well perforated and very easy to pop out of the card leaving very clean edges. The velcro dots have good adhesive and I expect there will be no trouble with them staying in place. And they fasten well to one another to keep the shapes in place on the page easily. After I got the book fully assembled with all the cutout shapes placed on each page, the book still fits in the little bag provided and in the box it came in. This is a great piece and I highly recommend it.

My 4-year-old loves this! The dino theme is a win, and the mix of matching, drawing, and cutting keeps him engaged. Velcro pieces are sturdy, and the wipe-clean pages are super handy. Bonus points for the safe scissors. Great for travel or quiet time at home.
