I got put this for brazing, and didn't even know that you could cook with it. It's something my wife wants to try. It's extremely simple to use, and as long as you are fire safe with it, I don't think most adults will have any issues. Two thumbs up!

This had some serious issues.First, when I put it on the butane can, it was leaking butane constantly.I tried remounting it and also tried two different brands of can, it was still leaking profusely.I did some troubleshooting, and discovered that it was missing the o-ring for the can connection.I found my metric o-ring assortment and took care of that problem. The flame was good and strong at first, but then it started to drop off and after about 1 min of use it would no longer stay lit.As I was outside, I thought that maybe the can was loosing pressure due to the cold as it was in the low 60's. I tried a different can that was warm and had the same result. After some trouble shooting, I discovered that the jet was now clogged by some soft white debris.I removed the clog and it was back to working. This has a preheat tube for the butane fuel path, this preheats the butane so that liquid does not squirt out of the jet. If you rotate the can around so that liquid gets into the preheat tube, the torch flares up and the flame gets a bit unstable as the liquid butane turns to gas in the little tube. The adjustment needle valve is loose and wiggles some. If you wiggle it the size of the flame can change dramatically. This makes adjusting it a bit of trouble as when you let go of the knob the flame size will change. This isn't a major problem, just a bit annoying.Overall, this had some issues. I was able to correct those issues. After correcting the issues it works as intended.
