My original cracked at the hinge so this was a replacement..First one lasted a good 15 years or more. Was glued the last 10..but love these things!

I got the scope with the rifle, and was concerned with the lense safety. When I started looking in to covers from the manufactiores of the scope, I was blown away by the cost! The Butler Creek units were just the right price, and had the size in stock. They came on time and were made very well. Fit was tight and the reliease worked well.
