These scope caps are awesome! I keep them on all of my scopes. The only trick is getting the right size. I have learned that, once you get your measurement with calipers, to size up. I made the mistake of buying the exact same size as the diameter of the scope and sure enough, the scope cap came in at the exact same size as the scope. I had to return it and size up and it fit great.

Nice but watch out on sizing, I measured the objective lens on the scope with a vernier caliper and choose the corresponding size. And man it was very, very difficult to put on. I used a very small amount of gun oil to get it on, tapping gently for the fit. But it's on there and ain't gonna fall off.

Ho acquistato questi tappi per sostituire quello classico, con l elastico, in dotazione alla mia ottica. Si tratta di un oggetto in plastica, molla in metallo, parte che si incastra all ottica in gomma. Dona un look decisamente più aggressivo e sono decisamente comodi; apri e chiudi in un attimo. Misurate con un calibro il diametro della parte in cui andrà montato e consiglio di tenersi, nel dubbio, sulla misura più piccola in quanto, essendo in gomma, si dilaterà incastrandosi. Ottimo prezzo su amazon!

Well made reliable piece that fits perfectly on my Kowa spotting scope.The stock Kowa cover would fall off and is pretty much useless. This solves that problem.It's nice to be able to click it closed when I use the binoculars and open it quickly when I need to usethe scope.

I have butler creek covers on all my scopes. If you don't have a caliper it's hard to figure out what size you need. It's best to wait till you get the scope to figure out which ones you will need, there's a sizing chart on the web that you can reference.
