It's the same as what was on my utility bed, but they seem lighter duty. I looked, and there aren't many choices for these latches; they will work for now.

I purchased four of these latches to replace latches on two tow trucks that I own. They were better quality than the latches that I replaced. They are constructed well and function as intended. I installed all four latches with rivets at the mounting points. This technique worked well for mounting the latches securely.

They're doing the job as expected--the only reason I clipped a star is the bolt.1.) it's a little loose (or should be a little longer) and it will tilt a bit, allowing the door to open just a crack. Maybe I could try adjusting the strike plate, but then it might not catch as easily.2.) it's a (plated) casting, and the bolt's "back" face is rough enough that it hangs up and keeps the lid from slamming and catching (have to flip the lever and retract the bolt to engage). Since it's plated I didn't want to sand/file the bumps off and lose corrosion protection. Again, I might be able to file the front edge of the strike plate to round it a little, but don't really expect that would work.Otherwise, these work fine and look great. Hoping they last for a long time.Edit: after a couple of weeks the action of the lever was a little rough so I decided to give them a shot of white lithium grease. Wow. They still won't slam but they open like butter! That might help keep moisture out too. 4.5 stars
