This is a high quality bead (4.6mm), and the color (metallic coffee) is perfect for my Rusty Woolly Buggers which I mostly tie on a size six (microbarb) hook. If you are tying on older hooks with the standard barb, you will have to go with a larger bead or pinch down the barb. I've been looking for a bead that blended in well with just enough "flash" but not overwhelming. This is it.

Tried a couple hundred of these in copper and black/nickel in size 1/16th to see how they compared to the cyclops beads I've used for years. Nice clean beads with no clogged holes. They slipped on the hooks easy without a problem. Copper was nice and shinny and the black/nickel had a nice color tone. I'm impressed with the quality so don't hesitate to give they a try. Delivery was fast, arrived in a couple days.

I use these to tip the end of my backup iron sight front post. Much better in low light since fluorescents are the only colors more visible in low light than any reflective material such as silver or brass bead. Used a dab of epoxy to affix and still firmly on after 1,000 rounds.
