My cartridge is on its last leg and was time to buy a new one. Unfortunately, the price on the filter I normally got went up a whopping 50%. I spent $100 on it two years ago. Buying the same filter now cost $153. I had to find another option. My old cartridge actually has a 200 SQ feet filtration area. This one is 120 sq feet. That just means it doesn’t filter the water as quickly as a 200 square foot one. Honestly, as long as I keep the water balanced, and don’t let algae grow, it won’t be a problem. This one has been running in my pool for a few days now. It is exactly the same size as my old one, so it fits just fine. The pressure is right and has not gone up much because there isn’t really anything to filter. As far as I can tell, this one is doing the job. It’s also less than half the price. So far, I am happy with it. Time will tell if it lasts as long as the other one.

I swapped this into my pool filter, and its working fine. It catches particulates, and then you can hose them out later when you want to change or clean the filter. No complaints so far.

I ordered this Hayward c1200 compatible pool filter about a month ago and immediately installed it into my filter. I then let it run for about 2-3 weeks, with heavy rains before swapping it out. Truth be told, I usually clean the filter weekly, but got busy with other things and forgot. Nonetheless, when I took the filter out, it was thoroughly dirty, running at 19 PSI. This is about 5-6 PSI higher than when I installed it fresh.Cleaning the filter was as easy as cleaning any other filter and this was no exception.Overall I think this is a good and fair replacement for Hayward c1200 filters.

This is a direct replacement for my pool filter. I was a little leery because I had always used the name brand filter. There is no need. This works just as well and makes me feel silly for spending so much more on the name brands. Just be sure to order the correct size for your filter.

I've had this running for about a week and a half now. This filter works just as well, if not better, than premium filters you’d buy at a pool store.My first filter was from one of the major pool stores and cost twice as much as this one is listed for ($59.00). I have bought other filters off Amazon at a similar price point, but none have been as up to the task as this one is. The water in my pool is crystal clear. I will definitely be a repeat buyer as I like to have several on hand.I highly recommend it.
