This works like it should. Not being tech savvy the wife needed to hook up two monitors for her work station. There was no simple reviews but thought I would give it a try and works great

I needed a USB-C to VGA cable to hook up my old projector, I expected to have to adjust settings, properties, etc, but nope, plugged this cable in and everything just worked - amazing!

a necessary tool in my travel kit unfortunately. Still surprises me to this day that many conference rooms and hotels do not have modern connectivity. Cable Matters always has provided high quality cables and this does not disappoint. Will last a long time.

I have one laptop (with it's own monitor obviously), plus two external monitors mounted on a pole attached to my desk. One monitor is HDMI and the other is VGA and that presented some unique challenges as I wanted to be able to split/extend my applications so that different applications displayed on each monitor. I was able to connect the HDMI monitor directly to my laptop but using an HDMI to VGA splitter didn't do the trick. SO I bought this cable and it worked perfectly. It goes from USB-C to my VGA monitor and now all three monitors are usable (separately).

Cables worked well.. I bought two for two monitors that were already using the dvi connections.. I plugged them into the ports for my MacBook pro. They display the images properly at the monitors native resolution. No studders lags or issues.

I liked the simplicity of a cable from the USB C to male VGA rather than a converter plus a cable. I liked the cable length - 6 ft. is not too long, but long enough to make sure it will reach from the laptop to the BYOD port. I can set the laptop where it is convenient to operate.

The delivery was very fast. The cable is just what I need for connecting my phone to a projector. I teach beginner birding classes and now can show the class a birding app that I have on my Samsung Galaxy 9.

This cable is a major shock when you compare it to a standard VGA cable. It’s so thin and portable that I am proud to pull it out of my bag. I have used this cable at least 20-30 times so far and it has worked flawlessly out of the box. The vga casing is very sturdy and the screws don’t seem like they’ll break anytime soon. The USB-C end is also well made and very sturdy when plugged in and doesn’t wiggle or shake around. It works in my 2016 MacBook Pro we’ll and I am happy with it. The cable is a little too thin for my liking and the quality of it is not anywhere near my MacBook’s charging cable but it does the job and does it well so until I come across something better this will have my recommendation.
