War für ein älteres Board welches nur msata Anschluss hat. BIOS Update, und den Adapter + Crucial P3 Plus 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe. Im PCIe 16× slot eingebaut , geht zwar runter von 16-0-0-0 auf 8-8-0-0 aber der Verlust ist im einstelligen % Bereich. Festplatte unter Windows 10 partioniert , einfaches Volume. Läuft einwandfrei.

easy to install. Mine came with screw that i could unscrew and insert my 22110 nvme ssd. My win10 8086k based pc could also boot with it. Dont see any speed difference for my 1700MB/s read and around 800MB/s write speed ssd.

I used this on a old PC that had to boot an os to see it. After that I used it as a project drive and it was SUPER fast data read and write while compiling. It shows up in both Windows and Linux if format is in fat32. When I was compiling I was running Ubuntu and using that drive as a ext4 formatted to house the AOSP .repo. It made that old dual core pentium fly.

It works just as described and doesn't require any drivers.Next time, I want to choose a product with a heat sink. The m.2 ssd is overheating.

This adapter was as simple as it gets. Slot the M.2 NVMe drive in place, tighten the screw, drop in an available PCI-E slot, and start the computer. The drive was recognized by the computer immediately with no other work needed.So simple that I bought 2 more. Great product for the price.

It's an interesting product. It does offer some SSD power loss protection for data in-flight. The flaw is the card does not see a failure just a power cut when the reserve power dies. The idea is that the host is dead but it gives the SSD some time to save the last writes from the host. The big problem so far is I have had several duds/bad PCIe cards (50%). Looks like a cheap NVMe socket or other manufacturing issues. The bad cards cause uncorrectable PCIe errors when you write/read data to the SSD. This error (on a good system) will cause a NMI crash and reboot, on a poor system it will cause undetected data corruption. I'll use it in a test system but I can't trust it for an important production setup.

i got mine today, it was one with out the movable nut. will not be buying more. possible this is 2 different revisions of the same design? anyways, ordered more from another seller in hopes to get more of the one that has a movable nut so i can use all the nvme positions.

110mm spot has bras mount bolt but can't be moved. I ended up using zip tie :P they need to remove that brass press connection and make it simple nut and bolt... Spend extra $1 on better thought out product.

Says it supports 80mm but it doesn’t. There’s no way to remove the screw at 110mm. Using improvised bolt 80mm doesn’t even line up. DO NOT BUY wasted $$ on screws!

I'm not sure if the design was updated, but I had no issues with the two that I purchased. Each package was delivered with the carrier board itself, along with a smaller bag containing an M2 screw and a threaded retaining coupler. (See Pic #4) I tested with both a 110mm drive (Pics #2-3) and a more common 80mm drive (Pic #1) Both fit fine as long as you use the included mounting hardware.To install, slide your M.2 drive into the electrical connector, slide the middle notch of the included brass coupler into the corresponding notch on the drive at the other end (See Pic #3), and secure with the included screw from the backside of the board (See Pic #2).The standoff cannot be installed prior to the drive like many other standoffs, and does not have a second screw to secure the drive. The standoff itself retains the drive.
