We had a crawlspace that was limited on cross ventilation. With this fan installed in one end, it allowed me to draw air from the other end so we could keep air circulating in the crawlspace.

Worked exceptional well for three years then died, otherwise very high quality w great features. Completely vented circulated air in 1,000 sq ft sub basement rendering the air fresh (vs the molding air we had). Going to happily purchase a replacement.

It isn’t silent but it is much quieter than similarly priced foundation vents. From inside my home and directly above the vent, I struggled to hear it at all.

Installation was easy. I removed blades from the existing vent, drilled 4 holes in the block, added the fan, calked around it and plugged it in.I communicated with Mia from Customer Support because I could hear the fan pulsating upstairs when the house was quiet. Also, the air flow seemed light. After sending a couple of photos, they suggested removing one of the vent screens. That seemed to help the airflow.I then added rubber gaskets (photo) between the fan and block to reduce the noise. It is so much quieter upstairs! When I went back upstairs to check my work, I thought that the fan was off! Without reservation, I recommend that you do likewise. Most importantly the crawlspace is less humid and absolutely less musty. Finally, thanks to customer support for substantial support.I recommend that they add 8 rubber gaskets to the assembly.

Nice fan using it to move the air in the cellar, easy install and it worked great with almost no noise generated by the fans.
