Chocolate Mousse Cake, the one where after you bake the ultimate devil’s food cake along with some rich decadent chocolate mousse, and then alternate cake slices and mousse layers, let it set, and then indulge. In order to properly pull this off, you need these acetate liners to form the outer edge and once it is set, you peel it off.This served that purpose well even though it was smaller than I expected, which is my own fault for not paying attention to the dimensions (3 inches height). I was able to get it to work by using it to add height to an existing springform pan.

I've been using the Urxirha Cake Collar, and it is really handy for baking. These transparent acetate sheets help keep my cakes looking neat and professional. They're easy to use and remove, making decorating and layering cakes much simpler.

Usually you see these used on fancy bakery cakes like the Milk Bar birthday cake or mousse cakes at upscale restaurants. If you want to copy those at home you need a cake collar and Amazon is about the only place you can find a specialty item like this. It's good quality and gives you almost 33 feet in length so it should last a long while. Recommend!

I'm an ex professional cake decorator, so I have previous experience with acetate. I prefer to cut a strip off the roll and use it to smooth and round off corners or just for instance parts of the cake that need a rounded appearance. This stuff works perfectly for that. It's very easy to use, and can also be used as a cake collar. Great quality!

Easy to use on the cakes. The food grade material is sturdy and super clear, which made my cake look professional while holding its shape perfectly. At 4 inches tall and with plenty of length on the roll, it was easy to cut and fit around both individual desserts and layered cakes. I loved how it added a clean, elegant finish to my bake without any issues. Simple to use and looks great!

This roll of transparent acetate works well to keep cakes contained. Our daughter loves to bake elaborate cakes for her friends and this helps to keep the cakes contained while she transports. The 4-inch depth would be better if it were a little bigger, but you can overlap if needed. This should go a long way in our house.

Worked perfectly for matcha mousse. Next time, we may try to better fill a rectangular tray with different sized mousses. Not sure how it'll turn out, but these cake strips are making me feel a bit inspired.

For various cakes this is a great help . . . if doing things like a mousse, it is pretty much a necessity if you want to unmold and still have clean smooth edges.When I make various sweets/cakes, I usually make smaller, individual sized pieces, so this is the perfect height . . . and the length . . . there is enough to keep me happy for a year or two.The price is very good.

This is a very good roll of clear acetate for holding soft cakes upright.I really like the quality of this roll, although, my mistake, I thought that it would fit a taller cake. Pay attention to dimensions, they are accurate and the description is correct.This is ideal for smaller cakes which tend to have less height.I use it to stabilize strawberry shortcake, which needs suport not to collapse.Also nice for tiramisu and other type of soft and moist, syrupy cakes.I suggest saving the remaining of the roll (enough for numerous cakes) in a clean ziplock bag, after the first use.RecommendedHope this helpsThank you
