These spacers worked well for installing an engineered hardwood floor. They were easy to use and kept the proper space around the edges without moving around. They were easy to remove at the end. A great value overall.

These are a must buy when installing flooring. I used them at the end of the plank to maintain appropriate space between plank and wall.

This may work well for 3/8" or 1/2" spacing jobs, but it simply does not work for 1/4" spacing. The block does not lay flat and stay in position as advertised. Instead, it rocks forward and falls out. I created my own spacer shim to force it to sit level, which does work. Would not recommend for 1/4" jobs.

In putting down some laminate flooring in my hall I was having a terrible time trying to keep it straight and centered on both sides until I got these spacers. They have 3 different widths that helped a lot where the wall was not straight. That way I could use the width I needed to compensate for the difference and keep the laminate planks from moving from one side of the chalkline to the other when I was putting them together hard enough to get the click that locked them in place. Saved me a lot of frustration and the floor looks nice and straight.
