Bought this to replace same unit that was 7 years old. Limited use, but old one froze up. Still, for the price 7 years may be pretty good. New one is just like the old, but staff says new unit is quieter. Seems about the same to me. Easy to use, easy to install. Go air up something.

The motor is great but the delivery was late when amazon attempted to deliver, they discovered the packaging was damaged, they sent it back to the manufacturer and then was resent so it took an additional 4 days while our compressor was down, hooked it all up and did not run. we took it apart redid the electrical connections and still wouldnt run. discovered the fan shroud was broken and wasnt letting the fan to turn , used the old motors fan shroud and finally runs now. So obviously we received the damaged one again
