The cone adapter is recessed to hold the screw and locks the screw into place. This enables the shaft to turn by handle to force the screw through the seal. It has a 17 inch long shaft that enables a high pulling force.The puller pulls 12 sheet metal screw.

Drilled a little hole in the pto seal on a 7130 case ih. Screwed in the screw and 3 slams later the seal was out. Couldn’t ask for any better tool for the price and a person can get new metal screws if needed at your local hardware store

I bought this seal remover for a specific job. When I opened the sealed box and removed the tool the top part of there shaft was bend and the handle was crooked. The tool was also rusted. Not sure if I was sold a returned damage tool or it was just junk to begin with. If it was not damaged it would have been a pretty heave puller that would likely pull some big seals.

Best to use a sharp center punch to penetrate the old seal and start the threads. Drilling creates a problem with metal chips behind the seal.
