I bought this timing chain for my atc185. After 15 minutes of riding it it cut out and made a terrible grinding noise. After taking it apart I came to see the timing chain snapped in half. Terrible part.

1986 Honda XR200R guides were too short.

Although this product appears to be built decently (only reason for 2 stars) it does not even come close to working. There is absolutely no curve to the tensioner giving it the ability to put tension on the cam chain. The other side is also about 1” short. It fits into the head fine but is about an inch too short where it goes into the case. The chain that comes with it also looks very cheap. Save your $25 and buy OEM!!

Look and feel great, upon install, noticed that the straight guide is about 1/2 inch shorter than oem. Still fits in slot and shouldn’t move but still has me slightly concerned… we’ll see how it rides out once complete.
