This is a no-brainer. We had the fridge fly open one time and what a mess. So. we now have Camco 17" RV Refrigerator bars for anything that will open up and make a mess. No more mess in this RV while on the highways!

My bad... i didnt pay attention to the measurements when i bought it :( its too short for what i expected :/ i thought i could use them as bars to hang clothes in my daughter's tiny wardrove but i was wrong :/.. i still use them tho, i had to bond them together to make them long enought for the closet and it only worked cause baby clothes are pretty light, so it still worked for the purpose that i bought them for.. only thing, the price was too hight for how tiny and weak are. Moral of a fable : always double check measurements before buying ! Haha

Product came quickly and in excellent condition. I gave it 4 stars because the rods do not hold much weight; they are not very strong. However, I am not using the rods for the original design. I am using them to hold up shoe bags between an armoire and the wall. I can still use them by placing them in a dowel rod holder, so all is not lost. As for using them for their actual purpose, I think it would work in a cupboard or refrigerator as a brace, but not for very heavy items. It is definitely worth the price.

I actually use these in the freezer section of our (full-sized) side by side refrigerator to keep heavy frozen things from falling off the (poorly designed) freezer shelving and onto the tops of our feet/toes. I've had these in the freezer for almost 2 weeks so far, and have not had any trouble with these slipping due to freezer moisture yet, which I was initially concerned about prior to using these. I have them no more than 1 inch above each shelf, just enough to give us a bit of a ledge, but still enough room to reach in and pull out what we need.The sizing of these is accurate, and the spring in these is very strong while the outer portion is very sturdy when in place and finished with nice, thick end caps. I am so glad I took a chance on these, they are well-made and have been such a helper in the freezer. Thanks for reading!

Works as designed and is easy to adjust and install in your refrigerator.Pros: 1. Light weight 2. Small enough for storage when not in use 3. Very easy to adjust to different lengths 4. Good for small refrigerators and small cabinets 5. Good priceCons: 1. Not very useful for you double wide refrigerators maybe meant for single wide frigs.Would I buy another YES and recommend this product for your RV.

I wish I had known about these short rods years ago, they are a great idea. I have two accent windows in my living room (one on either side of a fireplace) and they are old single-pane windows. They are pretty but in winter they let a lot of heat out so in the past I've just push-pinned a few swatches of flannel up there and it looks, shall we say, bohemian. This year I decide to buy some nice fabric and make nice curtains and use these rods to hang them. They work great and they are very strong. And on warm days when I want to look out of the windows, I can just pop them down in seconds.I read that some people are using them in cabinets to hang up things like spray bottles, also a very good idea.
