Perfect Fit for my 2007 popup camper Dometic refrigerator Vents. Expensive but Heavy Duty Stainless Steel. No More Mud Wasp & Paper Wasps Across the AC & DC & Propane Wiring & Fan.. (Can Cause Leaky Shorts or Leaky Grounds when Damp).... Safety then is Paramount & all of a Sudden they become a Great Deal. Highly Recommend

Our last camping trip began with the killing of half a dozen yellow jackets hovering near the refrigerator opening. After pulling away and arriving at our stop, I opened the vent and removed a grapefruit-sized nest that had built up over just a few weeks. That’s when I decided to fix it with these wire mesh screens.Camco makes several different sizes and shapes of these screens. This particular one fit my Dometic vent, which looks like three long slats but each is actually divided in half (for a total of 6 shorter slats). My particular installation has two such vents, so I needed two sets of these.After ordering the right one, they arrived quickly. All six screens fit perfectly on each vent and tightened down easily with the included plastic ties. I do hope the ties last through the extremes of summer and winter, as I suspect they’re the weak point of the entire setup.

Does and fits as advertised. It just take a little time to put two ties on each of the 6 screens but it's pretty easy. Should keep the insects at bay. Decided I needed them when I saw some wasp nests in the refrigerator area.

These screens were a perfect cut in my opinion, however I feel as though they should be pre-bent around the screened edge. I had to do this with a pair of pliers, and since my Dometic refrigerator vent on the side of my camper has two vents that's a total of 12 screens I had to do, with a time of about an hour to get them just right, and like everyone else's comments the zip ties that come in the packaging don't hold up very long. So I got some of my own that's why it took me so long to apply zip ties and bend the screens. Other than that, great product!

Worked well for our upper fridge vent that had six smaller vents. Zip ties are wimpy, but they are the only size that fits through the tiny screens. I used a piece of stainless wire (20 gauge) to wrap each one in the middle so if and when the zip ties fail the SS wire will hold the screens in.

The Camco 42154 Model RS 800 insect screen fits the upper vent for the refrigerator of Casita Travel Trailers. A tiny bit of trimming was required, but it was simple enough to snip off a few of the screen squares at the radius using tin snips. The metal bar faces to the outside and fits perfectly. These screens are sturdy and much neater and safer than improvising with regular screening material. While it's important to ensure the screen holes don't get clogged with debris so that venting can indeed happen, there will be less clogging possible than there is with window screening which has tiny holes. Great product!
