I used this kit to tie down a small platform I've adapted to hold a home wireless weather station sensor in a field subject to occasional high winds. Avg wind 5-15mph. It's held up for 3 months so far with wind gusts as high as 50-60mph.

Expected this kit to be below-average to average in quality because it was nearly half the standard price, but the screw-in anchors are the beefiest I’ve ever seen. As with all of anchor kits of this type - at least in my experience - the rope slips through the bracket & they loosen during the day with even the slightest wind (I use narrow ratchet straps). The rope is of better quality than I’m used to seeing also…in summary, this kit is worth purchasing just for the anchors alone.

Pour bien sécuriser un auvent de roulotte, vous avez besoin d'un système un peu plus costaud. Celui-ci fait le travail mais n'offre pas la meilleure protection en cas de vent fort. Pour le prix, il se tire bien d'affaire.

These work exactly as advertised. And they hold your RV awning very steady and quiet. Truthfully, mine have not had a real "test" yet, with a strong wind, but I expect they will do what they are advertised to do. Not tornado proof, but will give you some added benefit when there are stronger breezes that you otherwise make you put your awning away. I love having the peace-of-mind of knowing that if I leave for the day, and some gusts happen to roll through, that I am going to be okay.And, they are priced less than the competitor's brand. That one seems to have a "better" tensioning device, but frankly, the one on these works perfectly for me. It just might be slightly less easy to adjust, but like I said, works fine for me. Highly recommended!

These anchor kits are much nicer and easier to use than the standard hammer in the ground type which seem to be standard equipment with an awning purchase. The S hooks fit well in the awning poles which is better than having to thread the cord through the small hole and or then tie a knot. Simple and easy and made of quality material. Adjusting the tension on the ropes is as easy as applying a little pressure on the bracket and moving the rope in or out. I have another identical set for my other awning.

could not be easier to install. works extremely well in high wind. very inexpensive. every camper with an awning should be using this product. one of our best camping purchases ever.

I did not know they made awning stabilizer kits. We were camping one time and the couple across the way asked us if we had our awning tied down , it was suppose to get windy. That is when I started looking for stabilizer kits. There are so many out there. We didn’t need anything super fancy just something to do the job and stabilize the awning. I came across the Camco 42563 kit. This price was in my range and came with everything that I was going to need.Attaching this to the awning was very easy. There are step by step instructions. The cork screw anchors are great. We were on rocks and it went into the ground and held very nicely. This kit is exactly what I was looking for and worked just like it should.
