This is a great quality leather halter for the money. The rolled throatlatch, brass hardware and solid stitching is similar to halters at a much higher price. Was looking for a leather halter that wouldn't break the bank, and this one fit the bill. It broke in quickly with no effort or conditioning on my part (I know I should have, but I didn't!) The cob size fit my 15h AQHA perfectly! Will buy again - but I expect this one to last for a long time.

I gave 2 stars because the leather quality is good BUT the item is dirty and looks used! I would send back but I absolutely needed the halter for our horse. Pretty disappointed.

Terrible halter! Has plastic peices instead of metal! The leather was hard and tough to adjust. And the cob size was way to big, its supposed to fit horses 500-800pounds but it was way to big for my 600 pound pony even on the lowest setting!!! So mad, I spent so much energy getting this!!!!!

I purchased the Cobb size for a yearling quarter horse. It was good quality but made from thick leather and was too heavy for such a young horse, so I returned it.

I was actually super happy with the quality of the halter for the price. So much so that this will be my go-to halter in the future when I need replacements. The only SMALL complaint I may have is that the crown piece's buckle is a little snug and needs a good wiggle to adjust the tightness, but that's very minor to me as I use the jaw snap to put on and remove the halter.
