FEATURES
- This tool is used to allow precise positioning of the crankshaft for timing purposes.
- Used to bar the engine over for service procedures.
- Installs to engage the flywheel teeth and rotate the engine using standard square drive hand tools.
Engine Barring Tool Installation
- Remove the two bolts holding the inspection cover to the flywheel housing.
- Install the tool in the flywheel housing and secure with two bolts of sufficient length. Note: The inspection cover bolts are not long enough to install the engine barring tool. Longer ones will be needed.
- As needed, insert the pin (Not included) to lock the tool and block movement of the flywheel ring gear.

Work's but has no provision for holding pin( not included)Is not an exact copy of kent more J-46392. It will spin the engine as it should.

Used this turning tool only twice when it literally fell apart, gear fell out and pins with it. The pins will not stay in the holes.

Tool broke the first time we bolted it up, didn't even try to turn it. two tack welds are all that was holding it together, unfortunately the return window was closed by the time we used it.

Didn't receive it ,, apperentley there was a issue with this product .. they break at the drop of a hat.(previous reviews).Took too long to reply and needed this tool promptly.

Zero issues. Have a fleet of trucks with dd13's this bolts directly to the inspection hole. And makes it a one man job to turn the engine over, for jobs like removing the transmission or clutch assembly. Works wonderful.
