Purchased this as a possible replacement for an old "rock bag" used to hang my food in the woods. The idea being to add a few small rocks, connect to your string and throw the bag over a tree limb so that you can hoist your food up and away from critters. This bag is sized well for a few small rocks and should do the job. However, the material is quite thin and seems fragile. Not sure it will make a long lasting rock bag, for for less than $2, I'll use if for something. 5 stars for price!
