This CAMVATE Mini Ball Head features 1/4"-20 male screw mount on both ends for attaching accessories with 1/4" thread hole, such as LCD monitor, articulating arm, rod clamp, flash light, video light and so on.
It is free for the mini ball head to make 360° swivel & 90° at your request, then you can lock it in place with the central red knob.

I bought these to use with some camera mounts I recently purchased that came with only one of these ball joint arms. The issue I had was that a single "magic arm" wasn't able to get my camera close enough to the same level as the base like I needed. I was using some GoPro extensions to do this, but I replaced those with these arms and a couple 1/4" couplers. This is so much easier for me to get the camera into position now and I don't need to deal with multiple GoPro thumb screws.

These are great for very small loads (things like on-camera video transmitters or audio receivers) when you need a very compact, lightweight mount. For scale, these are about half the length of a sharpie marker.They’re definitely too small for things like onboard LCD screens, V-batteries, Anton batteries, or things that need to hold more than a few ounces.So knowing what they are designed for, they work great. When a standard magic arm is overkill, but you need a tiny 1/4-20 articulating arm, these little things are fantastic.

Internal balls are 12mm in size. Do not purchase if looking to have this work with other size balls as I did...but I cannot fault the product for this. It would be nice if they had it listed in the details.

Bought to use with Mevo and Linkspyder to record sports. Worked well to allow the Mevo to be repositioned to hit different angles and depths from the fence.

This is my second set, they work for me as I need them too. Some people say they cannot hold a monitor, well for me it's does hold my monitor well, matter of fact it holds it with a 7800mAh battery with no slipping and you can twist it in what ever direction you want and it will hold. It's rated for like 3lbs and I cannot see why it wouldn't hold the average monitor. Check out my pics. I am going to buy more it's worth it if your using camera rigs.
