For those that have been riding bikes for a number of years, you'll remember a time when every serious cross-country racer sported barends. If you recall such a time, you'll instantly recognize the Ergo Control Bar Ends from Cane Creek. After it disappeared from the company's lineup, it received email after email from customers begging for its return, and Cane Creek decided the time was right to bring them back. What makes these bar ends unique to the others, and having riders prompt for its return, is its refined ergonomic shape offering a comfortable position right on top of the bars, not far out in front like almost every other design. Additionally, it's shape is lower profile so it's less likely to snag trees and bushes and the durable rubber finish is grippy with or without gloves on. The universal lock-on compatible clamp gives it a secure hold on the ends of any handlebar with a 7/8-inch (22. 2mm) diameter at the grip area and if you're an e-bike rider, commuter, or mountain biker looking for more hand positions over longer rides and a little more leverage while climbing, pick up a set, you won't be disappointed.

I got these for a hybrid/flatbar road bike, that I needed some alternate hand positions on. The best thing about these is that they intersect the end of the handle bar, close to their mid point, so there's no leverage applied to them that makes them prone to shifting position (like the older 90s bar ends, that clamped at the very end (if you follow my meaning). I might have preferred a set of Ergons, but these are probably almost as good, but considerably cheaper.

Fantastic bar end for a folding bike with straight bars. They offer me two additional hand positions. I like them so much I bought another set for a mountain bike.

Just like the ones I had in the late 90's. Glad cane creek still makes them. Texture is a little sticky for a better grip.

Love them. Get them. I'm a roadie and when I ride flat bars, i want to put my hands on the drop or ends. This helps with that. Love them.

Real easy on the hands and provide a few more hand positions on long rides.

These are nice for a second grip angle to rest your wrists or wake up your hands. I use these on my cruising around bike to change up the angle of my older wrists. They are on the small side for my XL size hands but do the job. Things to note are you have to move your grips in 3/4" to accommodate these and I wouldn't put them on a mountain bike because they could hook a tree branch.
